Samsung Instinct

The Samsung Instinct isn't a smartphone by most people's definitions, but is still being viewed by many as a strong competitor for the iPhone. This device offers the features people have come to expect from a high-end phone, including a web browser, 3G, email, a GPS receiver, music and video player, and more. The Instinct is based around a 3.1-inch, 240-by-432-pixel touchscreen. This includes tactile feedback, called haptics, which allows the virtual QWERTY keypad to feel a little more like a real one. It is Sprint's first consumer-oriented phone with EV-DO Rev. A.

HP Pavilion TX2500Z

The HP Pavilion tx2500z tablet features an AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology processor, up to 4GB DDR2 system memory, ATI Mobile Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics and a 12.1" WXGA touchscreen/active digitizer display. It still maintains the same solid design and features as its predecessor.

HP Pavilion Elite m9300t

The HP Pavilion Elite m9300t series features Intel Core 2 Quad processors, a dedicated graphics card, a Blu-ray disc writer, Serial ATA hard drives with up to 1TB (7200 rpm), built-in bays for a personal media drive and pocket media drive.

Dell Studio 15

The Dell Studio 15 is a 15.4" screen multimedia laptop offered in multiple colors and configurations. The Studio 15 can be equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo and dedicated ATI graphics. It comes with a slot-loading DVD drive, backlit keyboard, sleek drop-hinge design, widescreen glossy display and touch sensitive buttons.

Apple iPhone 3G

With a name like "iPhone 3G" some have thought this would be the third generation smartphone from Apple. Instead it's the second generation, and the name refers to its most significant new feature, support for 3G cellular-wireless networking.

But that won't be the only change. A GPS receiver has been added, and so has the ability to run native third-party applications that have been approved by Apple. In addition, it will be able to connect to Microsoft Exchange for corporate email service. Aside from these, though, the iPhone 3G is quite similar to its predecessor.
